Why I've been busy: working on video games/ computers.

Hello! If you have been wondering why I haven't been writing for a while, it's due to the fact that I've been quite busy. With computers, and old video games. (With a few occasional VHS tapes). First off, I've been working on our old computer, before I donate it to a friend. (In return, I'm getting his old computer. With a floppy drive, so I can run older games. I'm planning on installing Windows 98 on it). It has a problem with the sound drivers, but I'm attempting to fix it. I've also been collecting old video games. I've been trying to acquire a Sega Genesis, after missing the opportunity to get one out of a free bin. (I wrote a post on my finds). So, a few weeks ago I picked one up at a tag sale for 10 dollars. When I tried using it, it wouldn't show on screen. As it turns out, the RF connector (The black box you attach to the TV, with a similar hookup to a cable box.) was dead. (As I could've told from the end, which looked like some animal got to it. Probably a hamster/guinea pig.) So, after ordering a Composite Cable connector from Amazon, I got it to work. My friend and I enjoy one of the games, "WWF Raw", due to him liking WWF/WWE. I like it due to the fact that it includes Doink the Clown. I also like the fact that the model I got was a Model 1, which has better sound quality, and a HEADPHONE JACK. How many video game consoles do you know have a HEADPHONE JACK? As a bonus, it looks futuristic, with its "16-BIT" emblem directly below the cartridge slot.  I also picked up some VHS tapes. One was a cell phone manual video. It was 15 minutes long, and had an offer for... 15 minutes of free airtime. It's like they were saying "Didn't like the VHS tape? Here's 15 minutes of time you could've spent calling.". I also picked up some "Create your own Christmas Video" tape. It was red, green, and had no windows. It also was a BLANK TAPE. So, I'm going to enjoy using it to tape footage of games. Here's hoping I can get some more games for it, since it includes sports games, WWF Raw, and Family Feud. Sorry for the lack of pictures. The next time I get a game, I'll take pictures.
P.S: I'll be sure to write more soon.
